I work at the Bristol Eye Hospital on the main reception, my job is amazing!

I love being able to help all the patients with anything they might need, but the best part is the fantastic reception team as we all work together. My manager Rachel is amazing.

I decided to become a Charity Champion as I thought it would be great to be able to raise some funds for our hospitals. During the first lockdown I managed to get us so much free food from many places like Pizza Hut, among others,  thanks to the Charity Champion role. The food made such a difference to the whole hospital as it was totally manic at that time.

I’m looking forward to doing a skydive soon. It will be my first event to raise funds. I’m not doing it because I’m not scared but because I am!

The Charity Champion role is great - I love my hoodie and water bottle and it’s nice to be noticed for the right reasons. I have had so many positive comments from staff and patients alike.

I recently took part in a photoshoot to help the charity promote the NHS Big Tea. It was very professional and who can resist a free cake? Not me! I would really recommend joining the NHS Big Tea in July. It's going to be a great event.

Why not become a Charity Champion yourself you have nothing to lose and everything to gain?
