Wealth management firm Rathbones is generously supporting Christmas at Bristol’s hospitals.

The firm is supporting Above & Beyond’s Christmas campaign to help create a lasting legacy for patients, staff and the Bristol community.

Rathbones has supported the charity’s Christmas Star Concert for the past five years, but the event was unable to go ahead this year due to the pandemic.

Instead they are supporting the Christmas campaign: 2020. A Year Like No Other.

James Fox, from Rathbones, who is also an Above & Beyond trustee, said: “Our support of Above & Beyond and Bristol city centre hospitals fits in with our ethos of doing the right thing for our clients and for others too.

“We keep the future in mind when we make decisions today, which is why it’s so important for us to support our Bristol NHS, especially this year which has been particularly challenging for staff at the hospitals.

“Everyone at Rathbones is proud to make this wider contribution to society and to create a lasting legacy.”

Last year the team at Rathbones went the extra mile by decorating the Christmas tree at Bristol Cathedral ahead of the Christmas Star Concert.

Elaine Gibson, Above & Beyond Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, said: “It is incredible to have Rathbones’ support for another year and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved.

“The partnership will help us spread some Christmas cheer around the hospitals and it will make a real difference to patients and the staff who treat them.”
