We're looking for a Chair and Trustees to the join our board and do great things for our hospitals.

Our Trustees are responsible for providing appropriate oversight, governance and leadership and making sure the charity is managed effectively and meets all financial and legal compliance regulations. Trustees oversee our strategic direction by defining goals, setting targets and evaluating performance. Additionally, as ambassadors for Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity, you represent us at our functions and events.

For these positions, we're hoping to hear from individuals with strategic vision and good judgment. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their integrity and commitment to the organisational values. Ideally, each Trustee would be highly skilled in one of the following areas: legal matters, finance, fundraising and marketing.

Trustees must attend board meetings six times a year, as well as be flexible for additional hours for sub-committees, events and visits.

Meetings are primarily held at Whitefriars, Lewins Mead, Bristol and can be attended remotely as and when required.

This role is not remunerated but reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
