Your ultra moment for your hospitals

The South Downs National Park is a superb backdrop for 2,000 adventurers to take on a real challenge.

An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the sea, to a Brighton half-way. Devil’s Dyke, and a few ups & downs lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an amazing 100 km journey.

You’ll get full support & hospitality all the way – and with half & quarter distance options available – there’s a South Coast Challenge for everyone!

Walk, Jog, or Run a distance of your choice (25km, 50km or 100km) as an Individual or a Team, and help do great things for Bristol and Weston hospitals.

Your miles powers smiles

Not only will you feel a great sense of achievement for completing an ultra challenge, but you will also be making a big difference by fundraising for your local hospitals across Bristol city centre, South Bristol and Weston-super-Mare.

To help you with your fundraising you will receive:

Sign up now to take advantage of the early bird deal, or sign up to more than one event for great discounts.

BWHC Logo sunburst icon How much do I need to fundraise?

Depending on if you sign up for a charity place or self-fund, the fundraising target varies. Check the website for more details.

BWHC Logo sunburst icon Can I sign a team up to take part?

Of course! You can create or join a team via the sign up page.

BWHC Logo sunburst icon Do I have to be an expert to take part?

There’s no denying it – this challenge is tough.

You will need to prepare well and should read the training advice. The more comfortable you are with walking or running long distances for sustained periods, the more comfortable you will be on the challenge itself.

A training plan is in the participant’s area of the website and we recommend organising regular training walks or runs to get your fitness levels up.
