Who we are Your hospitals Your UHBW hospitals University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is the Trust providing care to people across the South West. We fundraise for all ten of the below hospitals in Bristol city centre, South Bristol and Weston-super-Mare, with a workforce of 13,000 NHS staff providing services to a population of over 500,000 people. Together with our local NHS, we push the limits of what’s possible. We go above and beyond to transform the experiences patients have in our hospitals, wherever the need is greatest. THE 10 hospitals we PROUDLY SUPPORT Bristol Royal Infirmary A teaching hospital with close links to the University of Bristol and provides acute medicine and surgery, critical care, trauma, orthopaedic and accident and emergency services. Find out more Weston General Hospital A general hospital providing care to patients in Weston and North Somerset. The deliver a range of services including intensive care, coronary care, a birth centre, children’s ward, oncology services, medical assessment unit, and an emergency department. Find out more Bristol Eye Hospital One of the UK’s leading ophthalmology centres and highly respected as a pioneer in research, education and clinical practice. The hospital also offers a daytime emergency assessment and treatment service, 7 days a week. Find out more St Michael's Hospital St Michael's Hospital provides a range of services including maternity services, gynaecology, gynae-oncology and children's and adult audiology, ear nose and throat outpatients and genetics. It is also a regional referral unit for high-risk pregnancies and for fetal medicine. Find out more Bristol Royal Hospital for Children The only dedicated children's hospital in the South West. The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC) provides a local service for Bristol children and a referral service for specialist care for families across the South West and nationally. Find out more Bristol Heart Institute The BHI is a centre of excellence for cardiology care providing a dedicated service for people with heart conditions across Bristol and the South West. It is also one of the leading research centres for cardiovascular disease in the UK. Find out more Bristol Dental Hospital A Centre of Excellence providing routine, emergency and urgent dental care services, and specialist clinical dental services for adults and children across the South West. Find out more Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre BHOC is the cancer treatment centre for Bristol and the South West. They provide specialist non-surgical treatments for people with cancer, and for people who do not have cancer but require specialist radiotherapy or haematology services. Find out more South Bristol Community Hospital Opened in 2012, the hospital provides people in South Bristol with diagnostic tests and therapy services closer to their homes. They also have an urgent care centre, provide day surgery, dental services, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dieticians, and speech and language therapy. Find out more Central Health Clinic A community health clinic with a multidisciplinary team to support a range of specialist services including Yuno Sexual Health, The Bridge (SARC), Pain Clinic, Home Management Service (HMS) and a psychosexual service.
