Whether you’ve signed up to one of our events or doing your own fundraiser, you can kick-start your fundraising with a JustGiving page.

CREATING A FUNDRAISING PAGE ON JUSTGIVING

Here’s how to set up your JustGiving page:

1. Firstly, you will need to create your own account.
2. Next, search for the cause you want to support or simply click here to fundraise for our charity. Then click the blue button at the top to 'Fundraise for us'.
3. State what type of fundraising you are doing, such as taking part in an event, celebrating an occasion, or fundraising in memory. If you can’t see your event listed on the drop-down menu, you can select ‘Add your own’ at the bottom of the page.
4. Next, you will need to create your web address. This is the link you will be sharing with friends and family when asking them to donate.
5. Now select ‘Create your Page’ and voila! You now have your own fundraising page where you can keep track of how much money you have raised and keep people updated on your progress. 

Start sharing your link to your friends, family and colleagues, shout out about your fundraising efforts on your social channels, or print out your personal QR code to put up at your event.

WAYS TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE

 Make your page as interesting as possible. Personalise it by adding photos, videos and letting everyone know why you’re raising money for Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity.

 Share your page on social media and email it to your friends, family and colleagues.

 Let people know that their donation will make a real difference to our hospitals, both now and in the future.

 Use the JustGiving app on your iPhone or Android to update your page. 

 And don't give up. Reaching your target won't happen overnight. Keep on going, tell people about your event, post updates on your training, and keep sharing on social media.
