Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity has teamed up with Bristol Twenty Coffee Co to raise money in memory of the company's founder Roy Ireland, who passed away in 2017 following his third bout of cancer.

The new blend is called '21TEN - Roy Ireland Memorial Blend' and a contribution from each pack will be donated to the charity, helping to support Bristol Royal Infimary (BRI) where Roy received his care.

Rory Ireland, son of Roy and Director of Bristol Twenty Coffee, said: "Dad worked in the coffee industry for more than 20 years, from being an espresso machine engineer to starting what would grow to be Bristol Twenty Coffee. He was well-known and respected in the industry and will be sorely missed.

"As a tribute to him we are launching a memorial blend roasted by us in Bristol. One pound from each bag sold is being donated to Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity, to support the hospitals where dad received outstanding care each time he was ill and especially the last."

The memorial blend is now available from Bristol Twenty Coffee Co's website and across Bristol in The Redland Bakery.
