Jumpers at Above & Beyond's skydive day have raised more than £4,000 for Bristol's hospitals.

Five brave daredevils took the leap on Saturday 15th September at Go Skydive in Salisbury.

Participants included staff at UH Bristol hospitals, grateful patients and even a 90-year-old!

So far the group have raised £4,300 in sponsorship with donations still coming in.

Amy Barnard-Smith, community fundraising officer for Above & Beyond, said: "There was a great atmosphere on the day which was helped by the wonderful weather!

"We had people jumping from 10,000 and 15,000 feet and had huge crowds of friends and family cheering them on.

"The group have done really well with their fundraising and the money raised will be invaluable to Bristol's hospitals."
