DJ&P Newland Rennie has chosen Above & Beyond and Dementia UK as their charities to fundraise for over the next year.

The partnership with Above & Beyond will see the firm raise funds for Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

Staff at the real estate firm voted for the two charities and the team have already planned a number of fundraising challenges, including the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, a skydive in the summer and coffee mornings to be held at all of their showrooms throughout the year.

Kate Taylor, head of residential (Wales) for DJ&P Newland Rennie, said: “We are delighted to have chosen different charities for this year which hold a special resonance for all of our staff.

"We have set ourselves a target of £16,000 to be split equally between the charities and will be advertising our fundraising events on our company Facebook page and on our website”.

"To start with we have a team of 20 taking part in the Three Peaks Endurance Trail on 30 March."

Gemma Jenkins, corporate partnerships fundraising officer, said: “It’s great to have been chosen as one of DJ&P Newland Rennie's charities of the year and we’re really grateful for the effort they’re already putting into the partnership.

“It’s only thanks to the support of businesses such as these that we can continue to go above and beyond for Bristol’s hospitals.”

DJ&P Newland Rennie have launched a Virgin fundraising page to funnel donations through and anyone wishing to help can do so by visiting www.virginmoneygiving.com/djpnewlandrennie.
