Wards and departments across UHBW have been fundraising for Wards Against Cancer, part of our Bristol Against Cancer campaign, with the team who raised the most winning a fantastic prize.

Raising an incredible total of £3,000, the winner is… Ward A400 at the BRI.

The team received a £1,000 donation from Amazon and held a raffle with prizes including a Dyson hair dryer.

They won plants, a fruit and veg box, chocolate, jewellery and more, all generous donated to Above & Beyond.

We want to say a huge thank you to the team on A400 and everyone who has taken part in Wards Against Cancer. The money raised will help make cancer care in Bristol the best it can be.

While the top prize has been claimed, it’s not too late to take part. If you and your colleagues can raise £300 for Bristol Against Cancer, you’ll each get a limited-edition Smidge water bottle (while stocks last).
