GOOD NEWS KLAXON! We’ve had our first big winner in our Weekly Lottery. 

Andy Watts matched five numbers and won a whopping £1,000.

He said: “I could not believe it when I opened the letter and found out I had won a cash prize. The letter didn’t disclose an amount, so I tried not to get my hopes up. Then I checked my bank account and was blown away to see £1,000 already in my bank account!

I mean, I’ve been lucky enough to win a few £10 or £20 cash prizes in my life, but I have never won anything like THIS! I was so chuffed and instantly called my wife and kids to tell them. I’m not sure what I’ll spend it on for now, but it would be nice to treat my family to a nice meal out and given the cost-of-living crisis, this has helped ease the pinch a little.

I’m so happy to be a part of this lottery, particularly knowing that my money helps to fund things like cancer support boxes for children whose parents have been diagnosed with cancer and dementia clocks that help to prompt patients with dementia to do daily tasks, makes it all worth supporting. I will continue support the lottery and can’t thank them enough for my winnings.”
