University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is the specialist regional centre for children and adults suffering from cancer, leukaemia, and heart disease. By supporting Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity, we will ensure your money has a direct impact on over 989,000 patients, their families and friends and NHS staff, from Bristol, the South West and South Wales, who use our facilities every year.

Major donors can, if they wish, see the difference that their donations make by arranging a hospital visit. Clinical and research staff greatly value the opportunity to show donors how valuable their contributions are and to make them feel part of our team.

Working alongside each major donor, our philanthropy team ensures that major donors receive the right guidance and support so that their gift achieves maximum impact.

Recognising our supporters

We are delighted to offer our major supporters bespoke recognition options, such as naming opportunities for specific projects. We also offer plaques in the hospitals and features in our charity and hospital publications.

The 1735 Society

Donors who make a personal gift over £1,000 in any one year are invited to join the 1735 Society. Gifts can be made personally or through a donor’s charitable foundation. This giving circle is typical of the philanthropic and enterprising spirit of Bristol and it draws donors closer to the hospitals’ decision making.
