Access Self Storage Bristol has launched its first Christmas appeal collecting gifts for Above & Beyond.

This is the first year the Bristol store have run an appeal and they have chosen to collect slippers, puzzle books and jigsaws for elderly patients at Bristol's hospitals. They are also collecting chocolates and nice 'smellies'.

In the eight years that the company's Christmas Charity Appeal has been running, more than 18,500 gifts have been collected to help UK charities by Access Self Storage teams across the UK.

Access Self Storage Bristol store manager James Cox said: “We want to do all we can to support Above & Beyond. Christmas is a time for giving, not just to people we know, but also to people who we have never met and especially people who are elderly, frail or unwell and need an extra boost so they don’t feel forgotten about at this time of year. We have set aside a fifty square foot storage room that we hope we can fill with gifts and puzzles! We look forward to greeting everyone popping in with donations.”

All gifts for Above and Beyond can be delivered to the reception of Bristol Access Self Storage on Winterstoke Road any time from now until 13 December, when they will be delivered to Above and Beyond in time for Christmas
