Two ultra challenges and £24,700 raised by Deloitte

Deloitte go the extra mile - twice!

Deloitte have been doing great things lately – not only have they taken on one challenge event, but two!

The Deloitte team have been putting in the miles to power smiles at your hospitals, tackling both the Bristol to Cardiff Walk and the Cotswold Way Challenge, raising an astonishing £24,700 along the way!

A LOT OF MILES, MAKING A LOT OF SMILES

On 30th May, a team of 14 people from Deloitte took on an incredible 70km challenge from Bristol to Cardiff, crossing the iconic Severn Bridge and following coastal paths all the way to the finish line.

Taking around 15 hours to complete, this inspiring effort raised £11,000, including matched funding.

But Deloitte’s fundraising efforts didn’t stop there.

Keeping the momentum going, on 13th June, a team of nine Deloitte colleagues, joined by Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity staff members Elaine and Amy, took on the gruelling Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge, covering distances of up to 75km and raising a fantastic £13,698, including matched funding.

4 participants completed 75km, including Adam Powell and Jo Hale, who walked for an incredible 28 hours straight
5 participants completed 30km
