On Friday 16 June, an intrepid team of 14 Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity (formerly Above & Beyond) staff, volunteers and family members started their 24 hour challenge to climb the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland.

Starting in the wind and rain at Ben Nevis, moving onto Cumbria's Scafell Pike and finishing in the glorious sunshine on Mount Snowdon, the team completed the challenge in 23 hours and 45 minutes to raise funds for our brilliant nurses who work tirelessly to provide the best possible patient care.

Even TV adventurer Bear Grylls got in on the action, tweeting a message of support as they embarked on the final climb!
