Soar to new heights for your hospitals

Take part in a once in a lifetime wing walking experience and raise funds for Bristol and Weston hospitals.

Find yourself strapped to the wing of a Boeing Stearman biplane (safely, we'd like to add!) as the expert pilot completes a series of thrilling manoeuvres and heart-pounding flypasts as you sore up to 700ft. Neal did a wing walk to raise money for Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity

This is an exhilarating experience where you will fly between 80mph – 130pmh with views over the stunning location of Dunkeswell Airfield in Devon.

Bring along friends and family to watch your performance from the large garden area. There is also a café on site. Better still, encourage them to wing walk or skydive with you.

How do I book?

Using the link above, click on the event time to take you through to the main page to sign up. Don't forget to select 'Walk for free'.

If you'd like to sign up for a different time or date, you can unset and manually choose this when you click through to the event.

How much does it cost to take part?

There is a non-refundable deposit of £100 that is paid to Wingwalk Buzz when booking.

You can use your £100 deposit to kick start your fundraising meaning there is just £499 left to fundraise.

You're also welcome to fundraise offline for your £100 in advance and use this to secure your booking.

How much do I need to fundraise?

There is a minimum sponsorship of £599. You can use your £100 non-refundable deposit towards this.

Are there any restrictions?

You must be at least 18 years old and if you are over 65 years of age, your GP will need to pre-sign your medical declaration form before arrival.

There is a strict upper weight limit of 13st 3lb.

Who will be there on the day of my Wing Walk?

When you arrive at the airfield, you will be welcomed by the lovely reception staff of the Wingwalk Buzz team. They will talk you through what the day will look like for you and what you can expect. You can join other spectators to watch others brave the Wing Walk, while you wait for your turn.

As your local hospital charity we want as much of your raised funds to go to our hospitals. Keeping that, our staff capacity and the distance from Bristol in mind, we can't guarantee staff presence on the day of your challenge.

Can I sign a team up to take part?

Are there any other dates available?
