Exercise bikes The exercise bikes can be used by bone marrow transplant (BMT) and Car-T therapy patients at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre, who have to be in isolation for a number of weeks. The bikes can have a massive effect on a patient's wellbeing during a very difficult time. Access to a bike helps to build physical strength and confidence during their treatment. Hanni Easton, Physiotherapist and Joint Team Lead for Oncology and Haematology, said: "Being isolated in a room can greatly affect the patient's activity levels and mood. "The benefit will be ongoing for all future BMT and Car-T therapy patients." Donate to Bristol Against Cancer. Thank you.
