LEGO model of radiotherapy

The LEGO model of the radiotherapy unit helps prepare young patient for what they can expect when they have their treatment. The model was built to scale using photos of the actual department.

Jo Caseley, Play Specialist at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, said: "To be able to support an idea from a child around improving their treatment or environment is significant. Having the support and funding from Above & Beyond to make this idea happen is wonderful.  I look forward to the new resources that we can together bring to the oncology children and their families."
