On Saturday 27th April, 89 brave and determined fundraisers took on the Big Bristol Abseil down the iconic Bristol Children's Hospital to in aid of a great cause. Taking part in the event (which was generously sponsored by corporate partners, Wards Solicitors) were thankful patients, Snowdrop Appeal fundraisers, NHS staff (a.ka. our very own hospital heroes), charity staff, and local businesses who all achieved a massive fundraising effort by raising a whopping £42,000 (and counting!) for our ten hospitals. 

We also had some very special guests – Charlie and Mollie from the smash hit TV show The Traitors! While they may have been banished from the castle, they were 100% faithful to our hospitals as they took the leap of faith off the edge of our very own Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

A shout out to the local businesses who got involved. Not only did they sponsor the event, but a team from Wards Solicitors also braved the descent. They were joined by the dedicated Deloitte and courageous CMS who also took on the challenge. 

A big thanks to everyone who took part, all the volunteers, and Dave Talbot Adventure Events for supporting the event. Thank you all for going above and beyond for your hospitals!
