Staff at St Michael’s Hospital are holding a Christmas raffle to raise funds to purchase items that will enhance patient stays on wards 73 and 76.

Ward 73 accommodates up to 22 antenatal and postnatal women while Ward 76 is a transitional ward where babies can be treated alongside their mothers if extra observations are needed. Some examples of babies that may need transitional care are those born before 37 weeks gestation, babies who weigh less than 2.5kg at birth and babies of mums with diabetes.

Prizes donated so far include Aztec Hotel & Spa vouchers, afternoon tea for two at the Hilton Garden Inn, a Body Shop pamper voucher for up to six people, a Wild Oats Hamper and a £50 gift voucher to put towards any of the fantastic experiences – including short breaks, spa days, wine tasting and much more – available from Experience Days.

Thanks to all those that have generously donated so far! Money raised from this raffle will make a real difference to families cared for at St Michael’s Hospital.
