A 50ft Christmas tree in Clifton Village is raising money for the NHS in Bristol.

Set up by BID Clifton Village and former Radio 1 DJ Tony Miles, the tree is raising money for Above & Beyond and the Southmead Hospital Charity.

Supporters can donate and have their own personalised "thank you NHS" star placed on the tree throughout December.

Tony said: “As this is the 10th anniversary tree and with the current pandemic, I felt we needed to do something special.

“I want this tree to become Bristol’s beacon of hope for the NHS in the city.

“This is not just about the pandemic but also to thank our amazing NHS heroes that go above and beyond every single day of the year to help others.

“They need our support more now than ever and I would encourage everyone to dig deep and buy a star and donate.”
