Public asked to create face masks for NHS staff 26 June 2020 Above & Beyond and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust are calling on the crafting community to help provide 11,000 face masks for NHS staff at the hospitals. NHS staff need face masks to wear when they are not at work - protecting them on trips to the shops, the petrol station and when out and about. Get the pattern All masks must follow the pattern above and be able to be washed at 60 degrees. Sarah Pryer, Above & Beyond Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, said "It's really important that we're supporting NHS staff not just when they're at work at the hospitals, but in their own time as well. "By making a mask you're supporting our NHS staff through what has been a really challenging time for them." Once complete please send your mask to: University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust Bristol Royal InfirmaryA403, Level 4Queens BuildingBristolBS1 3NU Please include a note so they know the mask was made by an Above & Beyond volunteer.
