Imagine running from Bristol to Cornwall. Now imagine doing it in a weighted vest. That's exactly what our fundraiser Aaron did. All 195 miles of it.

Setting off on 7th March, Aaron completed the challenge in just four days in memory of his mum Tina, who passed away at the Bristol Royal Infirmary in January.

Aaron said: “This was me saying thank you to the staff on Ward A900 and remembering my mum by raising some money.

It wasn’t just the care they gave to her, it was the care they gave to the family, asking if we were OK or offering to get a drink, just the minor details of the whole situation.”

Aaron's huge challenge left him 'mentally and physically broken', but he said it was it was worth it.

He raised £4,300 for the liver ward and we couldn't be more grateful. Thank you Aaron.

Now he's thinking about his next challenge - watch this space!
