It’s been a busy month of events and fundraising for our corporate partners. Here’s what they’ve been up to:

An Evening with Gary and Lee Johnson

Tickets for An Evening with Gary and Lee Johnson are now on sale! The exclusive evening of entertainment will take place on Thursday 26 July and feature a candid Q&A with Gary and Lee, comedy from Mark Watson and much more! Working in partnership with Ashton Gate and Bristol Sport, it is hoped that the event can raise significant funds for the Bristol Heart Institute Appeal.

DAC Beachcroft

Law firm DAC Beachcroft has now raised more than £100,000 over the past three years of fundraising. We went to celebrate at the Bristol office and showed them their picture on the side of our newly-branded Above & Beyond bus. It’s an amazing milestone – congratulations and thank you to everyone involved!

Nisbets, Savills and PES

Thank you to employees from Nisbets, Savills and PES who took part in a particularly warm and sunny Bristol 10K. If you would like to take part in a great Bristol event with your colleagues, take a look at the Bristol Half Marathon and get in touch!

Kendall Kingscott

Jon is taking on 11 Tough Mudders in 2018 on behalf of his employer Kendall Kingscott who has chosen Above & Beyond as its Charity of the Year. He completed four races throughout May and now has a little break until taking on his fifth. Keep it going!

Bristol City Council

Lynn’s Brizzle Babbers, a team of four from the Sensory Support Unit at Bristol City Council, completed Bristol’s Tough Mudder in memory of their friend and colleague Lynn who passed away suddenly last year. Loretta, Kathryn, Ellie and Lucy took on the 5km obstacle course to raise as money for the BRI where Lynn received her care.

Plaster Creative, Bristol Junior Chamber and Destination Bristol

A huge well done to all of our corporate teams that joined with community members, long-time supporters and hospital staff as part of our Bristol to Paris Cycle Challenge. Three members from Bristol Junior Chamber raised over £7,000, brothers Pascoe and Yastra from Plaster Creative raised over £4,000 and John Hirst, from Destination Bristol, raised £1,846 on his third trip to the French Capital. Insight Law

A team of three from Insight Law have signed up for our September Sky Dive! We’re very excited to see these three brave women jump out of a plane at 10,000ft. Would you like to nominate your boss to jump!? Get in touch with Catherine on [email protected].

And finally...

Clifton Down Shopping Centre

Our four year partnership with Clifton Down Shopping Centre has come to an end. The team have raised more than £11,000 for Bristol city centre hospitals in that time. We’re very grateful for their support and wish them the best of luck in their future charity partnerships.
