The Bristol branch of insurance company NFU Mutual has gone above and beyond to fundraise for the Bristol Heart Institute (BHI) Appeal.

The team dedicated the whole of January to fundraising in memory of two much-loved colleagues. Activities in the office included a huge raffle, bake sales and dress down days.

NFU Mutual Bristol's fundraising total came to more than £1,600 and will go towards the purchase of two iPads to aid patient recover and help patients keep in touch with family and friends during hospital stays. 

Their fundraising efforts have been recognised with a Love Heart on the windows of the BHI Atrium.

Catherine Harris, Corporate Partnerships Fundraising Officer, said:

"We want to say a huge thank you to the team at NFU Mutual Bristol. They put a lot of effort into raising money this January and the iPads they have funded will make a huge difference to patients who are admitted into hospital for long periods. It's great to know that we have businesses in Bristol who can offer such support to our BHI Appeal."
